
Are you a snacker like me?
I learned a lot when I did a DNA test, not the kind you’re likely thinking of I don’t know what percent European I am. I took a health and fitness DNA test check it out for yourself here: https://betransformed.idlife.com/shop/product/05-0005 the things it told me were very interesting. Things like Keto and a high fat diet isn’t right for me, that eating throughout the day was important (goodbye Intermittent fasting) and things like stretching were imperative to not having Achilles injuries. This is just a tiny slice of what I learned through my DNA test results and our genes never change so this DNA test can even be done for children so they won’t have to struggle with weight or workouts like I did my entire life.
If you know what works well with your body and fuels it best already KUDOS, I was never very in tune with mine. So because I personally need to eat throughout the day to properly fuel my body and have my metabolism running it’s best, YOU GUESSED it. I have a lot of go to snacks! Here’s some of my favorites.

- Trailmix
- Protein shakes (my favorites are found here: https://betransformed.idlife.com/shop/product/10-1024)
- fruit snacks (I like HEB Fruit Twists)
- Popcorn (skinny pop is a good brand)
- PowerCrunch bars (I’m kind of obsessed with the Mint Chocolate)
- Chocolate or brown rice cakes (dressed up of course)
- Protein balls
So most of these are self explanatory cuz I keep my life fairly simple so I’ll just show you what kind of protein balls I make.

Chocolate -No Bake- Protein Balls
- 1 cup IDLife Chocolate Shake
- 1 (1/2) cup whole grain oat
- 2/3 cup natural/organic almond butter
- 2/3 cup natural/organic honey

Mix & roll into balls – they will be soft!
Refrigerate to harden
* Can sub whole grain oats with coconut flakes
* Can sub peanut butter instead of almond butter
